White coat, bright shoes

This is what I wore last week to work. This outfit below I wore on Friday. This boucle jacket is perfect for a highly airconditioned office!







And here is my Thursday outfit - sailor pants with swinger navy cardigan and white with navy trim top.






Tuesday I wore Ann Taylor navy dress with white print, with thin orange belt, nude shoes, and fitted Joujou jean jacket







Monday was a day for Jones New York suit: warm pink jacket with black skirt and thin black belt, coral shell (also worn on Friday under the boucle jacket), and coral shoes

Playing up the knee boots

Improvising more with the knee boots. This time I tried them with beige Vertigo mini skirt. Added some color with coral top and accessories are the same as in previous post. Below is the back view

Brown knee boots with pencil skirt

One out of the 100 items every stylish woman should own is knee boots. If the boots are knee length, they are best worn with a skirt right above the knee.

I like wearing knee boots with pencil skirts. This one is a brown striped Bebe pencil skirt with a front slit. I am also wearing Lucky Brand jewelry and B. Makowsky bag. The white shirt is by Patrizia Pepe. Personally I prefer wearing the shirt out instead of tucked in, but this shirt is way too long for that. I guess this outfit could definitely use a belt. I'll probably think it over and add some color to amke the outfit more fun.

By the way, the brand of the boots I am wearing is Ditto by Van Eli. Made of stretchy material with leather trim. Perfect for a cool sumemr or fall evening

Purple and lime green

Mixing the colors from the opposite sides of the color wheel. One of my favorites is purple with lime green. Originally I wanted to wear this dress with wide lime green belt but could not find one that I liked.
The dress is Nine West. Princess seams and a full skirt, off white and purple print. White Enzo Angiolini sandals, Lulu Townsend clutch and short sleeve cardigan - Pink Rose.

Yellow shorts

To folow up on the rule of each piece of clothing to pair up with at least 3 other items, here are my yelow Bebe shorts with 3 different tops: Coral Eileen Fisher tank, peach Due per due tank and Ann Taylor faux wrap shirt.

Lime green and chiffon skirt

It took me a while to find what to wear with this chiffon skirt. I have a passion for those little skirts that are so hard to match. If color is right, then fabric is wrong and vice versa. This lime green Ann Taylor top seem to do the job

yellow and purple

This is my experiment with contrasting colors, darker shade of purple with the lighter shade of yellow. The top and Nine West clutch are the same shade of dark purple and Bebe yellow shorts and BCBGirls peep toes are the same light lemon yellow.

I know it's a weird cobination of dressy shoes, shorts, and clutch combined with rather casual tank top but I like it

Navy and grey

Here is another combination of navy but this time with grey. Again, my navy pencil skirt but with gret Ann Taylor top and dark grey Nine West sandals.

Navy and coral

Here is one of my favorite Theory pencil skirts in navy paired with Ann Taylor coral fitted shirt, coral purse, black Via Spiga sling backs and a string of white pearls. Navy and coral is one of my favorite color combos.

Experimenting with navy dress

Here I experimented with navy Ann Taylor dress, accessorizing it with coral and peach, yellow and warm pink.

The first combo was the dress with coral Liz Claiborne purse and peach pashmina, along with light brown sandals.

In the second one I paired it up with Bebe yellow three-buckle belt and BCBGirls yellow peep toe pumps.

The third variation combines the navy dress with warm pink Jones New York jacket, think black belt and black Via Spiga sling backs. These are my favorite!

I figured black and navy would not be a bad combo if there is more than one accessory in black. Besides, the buttons on the jacket are also black.

Warm pink near the face neutralizes the effect of dark colors - I am trying to stay within spring palette
