While getting into my car after work, I folded my umbrella and noticed how well does the combination of my mint cream nail polish looks next to the royal blue umbrella.

Neiman Marcus for Target

Yesterday I finally went to Target to check out Neiman Marcus collection. On the web it looked a lot better than up close and personal. The only thing I liked (very unexpectedly) was Carolina Herrera's travel cases. I really liked the bigger one (not so much two smaller ones), it reminded me of M.C. Escher's style. Everything else looked cheap and poorly made.






I actually went to check out two things in particular - Diane Von Furstenberg's yoga mat for my sister (who teaches yoga on the side) and cute on the photo, but not so much in reality, Proenza Schouler's iPad case sleeve for my mother-in-law (she loves her iPad).

I was a bit disappointed since I was really counting on this collection in terms of Christmas presents.

Post Thanksgiving hangout

Today we got to spend the day hanging out in the University city, eating at the Bobby's Burger Palace, watching Breaking Dawn at the Rave theater and enjoying the beautiful day. Monday I am starting a new job and I am taking this opportunity to relax

Microsoft exam

Today I passed another Microsoft exam and got a new certification in HTML5 and CSS3.

Pool day

Today I spent the day at the pool in my latest bathing suit I got from VS. I wanted something in the 50s style but that was the closest I could find.


Alejandro and I soaked in the hot tub for and played in the sun. I am probably the only crazy person (not counting my son) who likes to soak in a hot tub on such a hot day.
